By air to the races

We learn from Air Contractors, who had the task of flying Hutchison’s Alfa Romeo to Bouley Bay last season, that they are fully prepared to do similar feats for their clients this year. For this purpose freighter Dakotas would be used, although a Miles “Aerovan” took the Alfa aforementioned. We gather that two cars of E.R.A. size could occupy one Dakota, enabling two entrants to split expenses. In addition to this service, Air Contractors can fly human freight to the races and, because they propose to use their un-sound-proofed Dakotas, which, however, are heated, air-conditioned and equipped with 24 arm-chair seats, their rates are very reasonable. Some sample fares, applicable providing all 24 seats are sold, are, per passenger:  Geneva, £11;  Monaco, £18;  Isle of Man, £5 17s. 6d;  Brussels, £5;  Rheims, £5 10s.;  Bari, £30.  Telephone Whitehall 6071, or Bovingdon 2296 if you are interested.
