London — Londonderry Air Race
The London-Londonderry Air Race to commemorate Amelia Earhart’s solo flight from America to Ireland in 1932 is being held again this year on May 14th, sponsored by the London World Trade Centre. Competing pilots will be driven, it is hoped, in vintage cars, from London to the start at Leavesden Airport. – W.B.
