Ray Wiltshire, long-time member and then president of the Bentley Drivers’ Club, and campaigner of an indecently rapid 3-litre, died unexpectedly in April after a short illness. Only recently appointed Chairman of the MSA, he was a director of the RAC and, through his firms Motoring Cavalcades Ltd and Motoring Adventures Ltd, organised 20 years of historic trips to Le Mans, culminating in last year’s Legends race.
