The 50th birthday of the AC Cobra will be celebrated at this year’s Cholmondeley Pageant of Power (June 15-17) with a special ‘Cobras at the Castle’ display.
The organisers of the Cheshire event are also introducing a competition class for the car. The field is expected to include one of only three lightweight Cobras ever built.
Other attractions for Cholmondeley will include the return of the mighty 46-litre ‘Brutus’ special (above) from the Sinsheim museum in Germany. Driven recently by Jeremy Clarkson on the Top Gear TV programme, Brutus will be joined by several other aero-engined monsters.
