IrAn attractive programme of both social and sporting events has been arranged for the winter season. The Hon. Secretary, Mr. T. L. Baldwin, 79, Elm Bank Gardens, Barnes, S.W.13, will be pleased to supply full particulars to those interested.

CHADWELL HEATH & D.M.C. & C.C.

At the annual general meeting of this Club the Committee was increased in size and it was resolved to organize better social events and more trials in the future than has been done up ta the present.

The Chib is desirous of increasing its membership and anyone who is inter2sted is invited to apply to the Club’s headquarters, The Mayfield Café, 686, Green Lane, Goodmayes, any Wednesday evening between 8 and 11 p.m. where the secretary, Mr. B. Castle will be pleased to supply any information concerning the club that may be required.

The Middlesex County Automobile Club’s ” Armistice ” Dance is to be held at the Hotel Metropole, London, on Mon

day, the 10th, of this month. The tickets will be 7s. 6d. each. An excellent band has been engaged and a very enjoyable evening is anticipated. Applications for tickets, which are to be restricted, should be made as soon as passible to the Secretary, Captain W. J. Lendrum, 10, Leaside Avenue, Muswell Hill, N.10.

BERKHAMSTED & DISTRICT M.C.C.

The events of this Club for November include a Solo Sporting Scramble which will be held on Sunday, the 9th, at Pednor Farm, Chesham, commencing at 1 p.m. The classes will be for 250 c.c., 350 c.c. and unlimited c.c.

On Sunday, November the 16th, the Inter-Club Team Trial will be held in connection with the West Middlesex Motor Club. On Wednesday, the 26th of this month i the annual dinner and presentation of awards, under the chairmanship of Professor A. M. Low, will take place.

THE OWL’S MOTOR CLUB.

This club will hold a restricted scramble on Sunday the 2nd of this month at Pilgrim’s Farm, Titsey, Limpsfield, over a very sporting course. Members of the

Carshalton, Redhill, Tunbtidge Wells, Bexley Heath and Sydenham Clubs will compete. The course is found without difficulty from the bottom of either Titsey or Botley Hills. Direction ea:ds will be set up to mark the wa.: .
