A member of the Cornwall Vintage C.C. reports good service from the Andre shock-absorber people. Writing to them for a pair of rubber valve seats for telecontrols for his Lagonda, he naturally asked how much was the cost. Back came the valve seats, with a polite note to say that these were “on the house” and there would be no charge. Rare courtesy—and sound policy. The club confirms that it has found this firm most reasonable over reconditioning friction shock-absorbers.
