Sir, When the system of parking meters was introduced whereby the motorist was charged for parking On his own road and was obliged to pay fines if he overstayed the statutory limit, we were told that the purpose to which this money was to he put was to provide improved parking facilities for motorists. It would he interesting to know:—
a. How much has been collected in fees and fines.
