Miniatures News, November 1978

We have received from Revell their kit for making-up a model of a 1934 Dunlop-shod Rolls-Royce Continental Gurney-Nutting Phantom II, to a scale of 1/16, which gives the completed model an overall length of more than 13 1/2” (34.8 cm.). Engine, interior and drop-head bodywork are beautifully detailed, in the plastic components included in the kit. We hope to report further on this fine model when it has been assembled by an expert, but amateur, model-maker. Meanwhile, Rolls-Royce enthusiasts may care to make a note that Revell can fix them up with the means of constructing a fine, large replica of one of the cars they admire. – W.B.
