Not Wolseley’s finest three hours…

I have always had great respect for the two Wolseley Moths which competed so successfully for so many years at Brooklands, and was pleased when Mr End produced a very good replica of one after the original cars had disappeared, and that his friend Mr Thomas made an equally good replica of the two-seater Wolseley which was built for the 1922 JCC 200-mile race for which single-seaters were not eligible. The latter car finished second in one race but was last in the ‘200’, at 60.2mph. There is now news of a replica of the two-seater Wolseley for sale at £87,950, which looks fairly accurate.
