Bradley lands F1 Tyrrell seat

After a gap of more than 20 years, Frank Bradley returned to racing in an Historic Formula 1 car when he fielded the ex-Jean-Pierre Jarier Tyrrell 009 usually raced by Bill Coombs in the Grand Prix Masters races at Donington Park.

Now 66, the former Formula Ford ace and owner of Swift racing cars regularly campaigns a March 707 Can-Am car but took the chance to return to a Grand Prix machine. His previous
F1 experience was in South Africa in 1990. “I started going to the gym, and for a 66-year-old it did me good as I lost a stone in weight,” he explained.
