Calendar taking shape

Several significant dates for the 2013 historic motor sport season have been confirmed, including Race Retro, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary on February 22-24. Guests at the Stoneleigh Park event will include Murray Walker OBE.

Next year’s Donington Historic Festival will be extended to three days over the Bank Holiday weekend, May 3-5. “We want to invite more grids, with a wider range of cars,” said promoter Duncan Wiltshire.

Masters Historic Racing will again provide feature content at the Catalan Classic Festival in Barcelona on April 12-14: GP Masters, World Sportscar Masters, Pre-66 GT and Pre-66 Touring Car.

Finally, the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power will run from June 14-16.
