Audi’s Quattro concept had been widely trailed long before the show, but I refuse to get excited about it.

However, Audi also managed what is a rare feat today and brought to the show a car whose very existence was unknown to anyone outside the company. The

Nanuk is a wild-looking cross between a supercar and an SUV, with styling that works quite well and a brand-new 544bhp V10 diesel engine. The Nanuk won’t make it into production either, but a lot of the design language and, it is believed, the engine will end up in the next generation of Audi’s R8 supercar.
