THE ” BURGHLEY ” SPORTS MODEL AUSTIN SEVEN.

The illustration reproduced herewith shows the latest ” Burghley ” type Austin Seven, which is rapidly coming into vogue amongst small sports car enthusiasts. The chasis is a standard Sports Austin as supplied by the Austin Motor Co., Ltd., the complete bodywork being designed by Wilson Motors, Ltd., of Eccleston Street, S.W.1. As will be seen, the lines of the bodywork are particularly attractive, for notwithstanding the shortness of the chassis an elongated streamline suggestion is provided. Disc or wire wheels can be chosen, as desired by purchasers; our personal preference being for wire wheels, which seem to give an improved appearance. The photo shows the new type wings; but models with the flaired pattern of wing are also available.

With its disappearing hood and luggage locker behind the seat squab, this little Austin model provides an ideal little sports car, and the bodywork is of such design, construction and finish as conforms with the general excellence of the chassis.
