Sporting book to bow in at Earls Court

During the summer the staff of this magazine, and the weekly newspaper Motoring News, have produced a general motor sporting book. It is called the “Castrol Guide to Motoring Sport”, contains 128 pages of indispensable information, and will sell for a mere 75p.

There are eighteen chapters within the full colour linen-style covers, subject matter ranging from all kinds of circuit racing through rallying to rallycross, and most other motorised sports. Also included in this compact publication is a unique section devoted to finding all the British Circuits and stadiums, plus regularly used hill-climb and sprint venues. Not to be Missed by regular Motor Sport readers are some pungent comments from D.S.J. on his Mille Miglia exploits with Moss and two chapters from W.B. concerning the great days of road events and a chapter on vintage racing.

As the title suggests, Castrol have backed this new publication whilst motoring specialists PSL are the publishers. The “Castrol Guide to Motoring Sport” will be available on October 20th (the opening day of the Motor Show) and can be purchased at our Stand Number 5 at the Show, or ordered from your local newsagent or bookseller.
