This meeting produced a dramatic conconclusion to the MOTOR SPORT Brooklands Memorial Trophy contest. lain Macdonald’s Lagonda won, challenged by Cranage’s MG (top). Cole’s MG (No. 18) retired after leading the Spero Trophy Race. Hamish Moffatt, ERA (bottom left) scored second best points and won the 25-lap race. The Trophy was presented to Macdonald by Winifred Boddy (right).
