Roll up, roll up

Sir,

I cannot resist writing to you about the truly magnificent new museum to the memory of Parry Thomas, right next to those famous sands where he lost his life at more than 170mph in `Babs’. For those who have not yet visited the Pendine museum and stood next to `Babs’, I commend it to you; it is the most enormous thrill and joy for anyone who loves speed. Be careful though; I understand Babs’ is at Pendine for only two months each year, although the museum itself and all the contents are both permanent and beautiful.

I am yours, etc

Andrew Wilkins, Solihull, West Midlands
