Ferrari hill-climb: Shelsley Walsh
David Franklin thrilled the fans at Shelsley Walsh in August aboard Carlos Monteverde’s Ferrari 212E.
The former British hillclimb champion claimed the spoils in a special Ferrari class run during the British championship meeting.
Franklin took the glorious sportscar up the 1000-yard climb in 30.20sec, while the victory on handicap went to David Cottingham’s 500TRC.
Other wins in the dassic classes fell to Ken Emmet’s Felday-Daimler and the McLaren M1C of Graham Gathers.
