F1 on the big screen

If you like your Formula 1 loud and up close, but most of all uninterrupted by advertisement breaks, F1inCinema is for you. This new service broke ground for the British Grand Prix, offering high-definition digital image quality and surround sound to give a very different experience to watching on a domestic television. Screened at selected Showcase and Odeon cinemas around Britain, broadcasts go live quarter of an hour before the start of the grand prix, with a summary of the qualifying highlights before the final countdown commences, then running through until after the post-race TV press conference is completed.

Following the success of the British GP experiment, F1inCinema will be screening all the remaining rounds of this year’s World Championship, with admission costing £15, £7.50 for a child or a ticket for a family of four costing £25. For details of which cinemas will be screening the forthcoming grands prix, visit www.f1incinema.com.
