Grassroots clubbies are where Steve Jones’s heart lies, and he’s been shooting at tracks since Crystal Palace in 1971. He began working for the weekly press in 1982, turned professional five years later – and still never stops. In the past month he’s been to Castle Combe, Anglesey, Donington, Brands Hatch and Cadwell Park, amid a schedule that will add up to 49 race meetings by season’s end.
