S.B. AUTO CLUB.

The Sutton Coldfield and North Birmingham Auto Club will hold their September Trial on Saturday, the 6th. On Sunday, the 7th, a run will be held through the Cotswolds. Other events will be the Old Crocks run on Saturday, the 20th. The Autumn Trial on October the 4th and the October Run on Sunday, October 5th. Further information regarding these events may be obtained from J. D. Woodhouse, Secretary, 10, Warwick Chambers, Corporation Street, Birmingham.

There were no events organized from the London headquarters of the Junior Car Club during August. On September 6th there will be a night trial starting from Virginia Water, near Egham, Surrey, at midnight and finishing at Southsea about 7.30 on the following morning. The entry fee for this event will be one guinea, inclusive of breakfast.

,On September 20th the South-Western centre of the club will hold a trial from Salisbury to Lynton, of which the course promises to be most interesting. A dinner and dance will be held at the conclusion.

A third September event will be a gymkhana held at Welwyn, Herts, on Saturday. September 27th, followed by a dinner and dance. Fuller details of these fixtures may be obtained from the J.C.C., Empire House, T hurloe Place, S.W.7.

BERKHAMSTED & D.M.C.

A Speed Hill Climb will be held on Sunday, 21st September, starting at 1.30 p.m., at Dancers Hill near Tring. The route will be marked from the” Brittania,” Tring, Herts. Each competitor will have two runs, and the meeting will be open to cars, sidecars, and solos.

This is in aid of charity, and a heavy entry is expected. The hill is situated on private property, and the whole style of the meeting will be on the lines of the old Kop Hill events.

MIDLAND AUTOMOBILE CLUB.

Arrangements for the Amateur Shelsley Hill Climb this month have now been completed, and, it is hoped that a very successful meeting with a large entry will be the outcome. The events will be as follows :—

Team Event for three unlimited Sports Cars representing Clubs affiliated to the R.A.C.

Event 2. For the fastest time in 7 Classes sub-divided into Racing and Sports Cars, and the following special cups.

A Special M.A.C. Cup will be given if the present record for the Hill made by Von Stuck is broken.

A Special M.A.C. Cup for a Lady making the fastest time on a Sports or Racing Car.

A Special M.A.C. Cup for the fastest time made by an Amateur who drove or will be driving his car in the Double Twelve, Le Mans, 24 Hours Race, Irish Grand Prix, or Ulster T.T.

It would be appreciated if more ladies like Mrs. Scott and others enter for the Ladies’ Cup.

It is understood from Mays that he is definitely appearing with his new car, and is hoping for great things, also Davenport hopes to obtain another rev, or two.

Intending competitors should write without delay to Leslie Wilson, Sec. M.A.C. 415, Stratford Road, Birmingham, who will supply them with regulations and entry forms, and any other necessary information.
