Post-vintage Standards
The Standard Register, formed five years ago to record surviving Edwardian and Vintage examples of the marque announces the formation of a “Post Vintage” section. Models produced between 1907 and 1930 are represented in strength by the original Register which will remain under the administration of its founder J. R. Davy, but enthusiastic owners of 1931-1940 Standards are invited to write to R. E. Levin, Standard Register (Post Vintage Section), Standard-Triumph Engineering Division, Fletchamstead, Coventry. The objects of the new section are to encourage the use and preservation of Standard, Standard Swallow and Avon Standard cars of the period and there will be a special category for these cars at next year’s National Standard Register Rally.
