Forgotten Facts

Sir,

Pleased to see Clement-Bayard as the subject of WB’s Forgotten Makes. Nice to see too he makes mention of the greatly promising turn-of-the-century teenage Grand Prix driver, Albert Clement. However, in discussing the performances of the racing models he fails to mention one of the reasons for the 1907 cars being unable to reproduce the form of 1906 — namely that Albert was killed while practising for the 1907 Grand Prix.
