Technical diagrams and photography of restoration in progress add a bit of ‘under the skin’ knowledge here for those who like to get to grips with the oily bits — or maybe it’s meant for those who like me want to know how the suspension works without getting dirty. The overall story of XKs from 120 to 150 doesn’t change, of course, but Boyce is very up on tiny spec changes to each model, and the tables which these AutoClassics feature are a plus, covering production numbers and changes. The author’s advice to owners has the ring of experience about it. And to answer the question in your caption, Jeremy — yes, that is a rear elevation of WB. GC
