Silverstone’s Historic Festival will move from its traditional late July/ early August slot to the summer Bank Holiday weekend of August 25-27 in 2001.
The meeting will henceforth follow the AvD’s Oldtimer Grand Prix, Germany’s showpiece historic event at the Niirburgring.

Global collectors car auction house Brooks immediately stepped in to run the meeting’s feature sale from 2001 onwards. MP
