I am writing a book about the history of Oulton Park. The circuit has held races since August 1953 and it is my intention to commemorate the 50 years next summer by recalling each meeting, and the great moments that have occurred at the circuit I also intend to give the reader a profile of some of the individuals who have appeared at the venue.

Many drivers have already assisted my research, given me their memories and loaned or given me the right to use their archives. I have also obtained, or have access to, a number of contemporary photographs to illustrate the history of this great driver’s circuit I am intent in setting the name of Oulton Park on bookshelves of similarly enthusiastic folk.

The purpose of this letter is therefore to seek individuals who may have their own memories, pictures or other memorabilia that they are willing to share with me. lam also seeking people who might help sponsor the book’s printing costs and/or for people who may be willing to assist my aim by buying it in advance of its publication date next spring.
