The year’s best historic racing event is back: 78 years to the day that the Goodwood Motor Circuit opened its doors for the first time, visitors are streaming back for the 2026 Goodwood Revival, and you can watch all of the action on the live-stream above.
Today’s practice and qualifying sessions offer the first opportunity to see all of the grids on track, and there’s competitive action too: the flag drops on the first race of this year’s event at 5.35pm when 1960s saloon cars will jostle for top honours in part one of the St Mary’s Trophy.

It’s worth staying tuned too, because that’s followed by pre-1963 GT cars in the Stirling Moss Trophy, racing into the sunset from 6.25pm.
Coverage will return throughout Saturday and Sunday, with 16 spectacular races across the weekend, along with demonstration runs, parades and all of the trackside atmosphere as the circuit and guests wind the clock back to racing’s golden era.
This year’s event has adopted an Italian theme, as Maserati celebrates its centenary. There will be more than 50 Trident-badged cars on track this weekend, including eight in the ‘Battle of Modena’: a reimagined Lavant Cup with a grid made up solely of Maseratis and Ferraris, as well as a daily track parade of classic Maeratis.
Another side to Italian culture will splutter into action every morning with a Vespa parade of more than 80 scooters; machines from the evocative Italian manufacturer will be joined by Lambrettas, Italjets and Isos.
