911R – English Edition

The story of Porsche’s two 911R models told in a special edition (limited to 1500) comprising 384 pages. The hardback book covers the early 911R of 1967, of which only 20 cars plus four prototypes had been manufactured, as well as the new 911R from 2016 that sold out on the day it was launched at Geneva Motor Show. Authors Christoph Mäder, Georg Konradsheim and Thomas Gruber spent 18 months painstakingly researching, writing and designing this special book, with special 3D illustrations created exclusively and printed on acetate foils to grant the reader an x-ray view of the modern 911R. The cover pays tribute to the car itself by resembling the interior with the brown/houndstooth combination.
