The Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix marks the start of the European Formula 1 season, and a return to Sunday afternoon races (for fans in Europe) after rounds in Australia, Asia, the Middle East and America.
The lights will go out at 2pm (BST) on Sunday, following qualifying at 3pm on Saturday afternoon. In the UK, all sessions will be shown live on Sky Sports F1, with Now TV subscribers able to stream the action. Highlights, as ever, will be broadcast on Channel 4.
It could be the final grand prix at Imola for one time: can the historic circuit deliver a classic?

How to watch F1
TV broadcast and streaming details
Live TV
All the action from the three days will be available to watch live in the UK on Sky Sports F1. The first session will be Free Practice 1 which starts at 12.30pm BST on Friday 16 May, followed by two more practice sessions, qualifying and the Grand Prix over the weekend. Subscribers can also download the Sky Sports App, which allows them to watch any driver’s onboard stream, as well as discover the ‘Battle Channel’ for the best fights on-track at any time.
Live Stream
If you’re not home this weekend, UK-based Sky Sports F1 subscribers can use the Sky Go app to watch all the sessions. There is also the option of Now TV, which allows subscribers of the sports package to watch live coverage of all sessions through Sky Sports F1, in addition to the choice of 20 onboard views.
Live timings are available through the F1 app and website.
Highlights
As in previous seasons, Channel 4 will be broadcasting highlights for UK viewers. There will be a show for the qualifying highlights at 6.30pm on Saturday, with the race highlights shown 24 hours later at 6.30pm on Sunday evening.
