He’s sat beside some of the world’s best (often in a Vauxhall…), almost raced in Formula 1 with Tyrrell and raced against some of the best drivers the 1980s had to offer, and his band played at Michele Alboreto’s leaving party. So he should have plenty of tales to tell, including (possibly) what he and Phil Hill were discussing above.
