Race the stars in identical karts – the HSF is taking entries
The annual Henry Surtees Foundation Brooklands Team Challenge is open for entries, your chance to race againsts pros, up and coming youngsters and even the Motor Sport editorial team for two hours outside Mercedes-Benz World. The event will be taking place on Tuesday July 11, 2017.
A four-person team entry costs £1,500, which also includes a ticket to the Champagne reception in the evening – also available for £70 a ticket. Plus, Mercedes-Benz World is free to wander round.
The 2016 event raised more than £60,000 for the Henry Surtees Foundation, an important charity set up by John Surtees following his son’s death in 2009. HSF supports a number of air ambulance trusts and blood bike services that have saved the lives of motorists on and off the track.
