The Nürburgring 24 Hours is an event like no other. And so, at this year’s race, we sent our intrepid photographer out among the crowds in the woods to capture its essence – the people, the mud, the sun, the vast constructs and the undimmed enthusiasm for sports cars.
In the race itself, a thrilling contest was won by Manthey Racing’s Nick Tandy, Fred Makowiecki, Patrick Pilet and Richard Lietz in what became a two-hour sprint to the finish after a lengthy red flag period due to dense fog.
