In tribute to Gordon Cruickshank
Gordon Cruickshank: 16 July 1955 - 9 December 2024 When asked to write an appreciation of someone’s life, I think the trick is to look for and hope to find…
Aston Martin is a great British success story. From James Bond’s mode of transport to success on motor racing’s world stage. The evening on 16th July was a unique opportunity to hear about the racing success from Aston Martin’s longest-serving works driver, and one of the most successful, Darren Turner.
Hosted at Aston Martin specialist Nicholas Mee & Co’s award-winning premises in Hertfordshire, Motor Sport presented a unique evening of entertainment. Guests were given a rare opportunity to hear about Aston Martin’s racing success from Darren in an informal and intimate setting. Guests were also given a guided tour of the state-of-the-art dealership, and treated to refreshments and a BBQ. Darren was interviewed by members of the Motor Sport editorial team and the evening was supported by Classic & Sports Finance.
