Now in its seventh year, the Motor Sport Hall of Fame celebrates the greatest names in racing across Formula 1, motorcycling, sports cars, and other disciplines. Previous inductees include heroes such as Jim Clark and Tazio Nuvolari, as well as Stirling Moss, Niki Lauda and Alain Prost among others. The ceremony is now an established fixture in the motor racing calendar, with stars Tom Kristensen, Derek Bell, Jackie Stewart, David Brabham and Eric Bana in attendance in previous years.

On the June 4, 2018 our exclusive annual event will welcome the class of 2018 inductees into the Motor Sport Hall of Fame. The star-studded awards ceremony will take place at the stunning surroundings of the Royal Automobile Club at Woodcote Park, in Epsom, Surrey.

Begin the evening with live demonstration hill climbs by celebrity drivers in rarely seen vehicles. 2017 saw Bruce McLaren’s Can-Am Challenge-winning car, one of only three M6As built, driven by four-time IndyCar series champion, Dario Franchitti.

Directions to the Royal Automobile Club:

National Rail

Epsom station; trains depart every 30 minutes from both London Waterloo and Victoria.

By Car from the M25

Leave the M25 at junction 9 and follow signs for A243 (A24) to Epsom. Take the A24 to Epsom and follow this road through Ashtead Village. Turn right on the A24 (signposted Epsom Downs) into Woodcote Side. When the road bends take the immediate right and then turn right into Wilmerhatch Lane. Follow this road and you will see the clubhouse gates on your left.

By Car from Epsom

Follow the A24 towards Dorking from Epson town centre. When you reach the traffic lights opposite a BP petrol station, turn left into Woodcote Road. Follow the road through to Wilmerhatch Lane. The Clubhouse gates are on your left.

Shuttle bus and taxis to the station

At the end of the evening, there will be a shuttle bus to take guests either to Epsom train station/Travel Lodge or the Holiday Inn. There will also be plenty of taxis on hand.

Voting

The 2018 ceremony will induct worthy stars from Formula 1, sports car racing, motorcycling and US racing, as well as one of six shortlisted iconic racing cars.
