Follow Motor Sport photographer Lyndon McNeil on each step of the way to racing for real

Radicals Brands Hatch November 2018 race start

Our staff photographer Lyndon McNeil by his own admission considers shooting race cars as mere substitute for his original ambition to be the one racing them. And late last year Radical Sportscars gave Lyndon the chance to at last fulfil that initial aim, by taking him through every stage of the process to actually compete as a racing driver in its SR1 Cup Championship.

Lyndon charted each step of the way in a series on articles outlining his many highs and the occasional low, covering all the way from getting his licence, honing his skills in tests as well as in a simulator, right through to racing the car for real at Brands Hatch.

You can check out Lyndon’s articles on his adventures via the various links below.
