Description
Rarely in Le Mans history has a nation been so dominant than Britain were in 1957. That dominance was in no small part down to Jaguar and their remarkable D-Type. Introduced in 1954, once early reliability issues were fixed the D-Type soon found itself without equal. Featuring a Batman-esque fin and a mighty 3.8 litre engine, the D-Type finished 1-2-3-4-6 in 1957. The poster features the beautiful blue-and-white D-Type of Ron Flockhart and Ivor Bueb that took victory at the race.
