Description
Frank Lockhart was an early American pioneer of speed. Held by some historians in the same vein as the legendary Jim Clark, Lockhart won the 1926 Indianapolis 500 and set some records that would stand until 1960. This print shows Lockhart in his Stutz Black Hawk, a car designed to set a new land speed record. Sadly, the attempt would cost the talented American his life.
