The Pikes Peak hill-climb is a time attack challenge which takes place in Colorado every year. One of the oldest hill-climb events in the world, it has taken place every year, excluding the First and Second World Wars’, since 1916. In 1987, Walter Rohrl won the event while driving a monstrous Audi Quattro E2, derived from the 600bhp Group B rally car. This stylish poster commemorates Rohrl’s victory in the event, and he became the first driver to ever complete the course in under 11 minutes.
