Description
Jody Scheckter signed full-size, Snell rated helmet, period reproduction in very good condition.
Jody Scheckter started racing in South Africa and with successful stints with Tyrrell and Wolf he moved to Ferrari. In 1979 the ‘ground-effect’ Ferrari 312T4 was extremely reliable and won 6 races, three each for Jody and team mate Gilles Villeneuve. Jody Scheckter still owns the victorious 312T4. In 2019 he returned to the Italian Grand Prix at Monza to drive the car, and celebrate the 1-2 win and 40th Anniversary that secured his Formula 1 World Championship, and the Constructors Championship for Ferrari.
Jody’s helmet is one of the most distinctive on the grid, and this correct period reproduction on a 1970 Snell rated helmet is as close to the real thing as you will get. Superb display piece (not safety equipment), sold complete with photo Certificate of Authenticity and helmet bag.
