Description
In 1985 Alain Prost became the first French Formula One World Champion. He won five of the sixteen Grands Prix during the season, including the Monaco Grand Prix. Prost’s performance in 1985 earned him the Légion d’honneur distinction in France.
The McLaren MP4/2B was used throughout the 1985 season, chassis design by John Barnard, Steve Nichols, Gordon Kimball, Alan Jenkins, Tim Wright and Bob Bell with the car being powered by a 1.5L Turbo TAG-Porsche engine developing nearly 1000bhp.
This beautiful livery box contains an Alain Prost hand signed 1/18 replica of his first Formula 1 World Championship winning McLaren MP4/2B, in a year with Niki Lauda as team mate, the Professor was making his mark. Full Marlboro sponsor upgrade applied, hand signed model with a COA from our own private signing with Alain in Paris in 2021.
