Alberto Ascari 1918-1955: This framed presentation set displays the original visor lenses as used by Alberto Ascari in major motor racing events between 1952 and 1954. All 8 lenses were made by Ratti of Turin and used by Ascari driving Ferrari, Maserati and Lancia racing cars. The original storage envelopes are mounted behind each lens. The handwritten note on each records the race in which the lens was used, written by Ascari himself. The caption under each lens details both the event and car that he was driving for that race.
With only one available on the Motor Sport shop, this unique piece is a true collector’s item.
