Description

18 years ago, an Italian team decided to get back to racing after a 37-year hiatus. The year was 2004, the manufacturer – Maserati, the Car – MC12.
The Modena marque started racing towards the end of that year, winning at the Zhuhai circuit in China. On the race track, the MC12 proved to be truly dominant in its day. As is often the case with sports car racing, if one car seems to have a big advantage over the rest of the field, the rule makers try and hobble it in some way. But despite several attempts to slow it down, it just kept on winning.
