John Surtees’ links to Italy run through his racing career, and were long celebrated after he retired from racing, but John kept his contacts and was regularly honored and celebrated at classic event over the years.
One partnership was with ceramics manufacturer CMS, who produced a limited run of ‘signature’ plates and bowls in honor of John’s achievements. Carefully stored we have a limited number of plates, bowls and dinner service sets available – these were personally brought back to the UK by John and stored since new, approx 25 years ago.
John personally approved the design, which is hand painted, and hand signed by John Surtees, replicated on every piece. These make wonderful display pieces, and very nice gifts.
Available as individual pieces (with display stand) or a single or complete service (6x side plates, 6x plates, 6x desert bowls, 1x salad bowl – please enquire), very rare survivor pieces that are very collectible.
