Description
A fantastic aluminium art print of the Ferrari 330 P4 by Geoff Bolam.
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but there are some things that are beautiful to all. Angered and embarrassed by Ford’s 1-2-3 at the 1966 Le Mans 24 hour race, Enzo Ferrari sought revenge for the 1967 season, fine tuning the design of the 330 P3, and in the hands of drivers like Chris Amon and Lorenzo Bandini the P4’s became weapons.
P4 variants took all 3 podium spots at the 1967 Daytona, becoming known as “The Revenge of Il Commendatore”, as well as achieving 2nd and 3rd at the Le Mans 24 hour.
The car illustrated is the No.21 car driven by Mike Parkes and Ludovico Scarfiotti which finished 2nd at the 1967 Le Mans 24 hour. A technical drawing based on original factory drawings is featured in the background and highlights key aspects of the design.
