Soper vs Cleland.
This one-off artwork is created by Joel Clark of Speed Icons Automotive Art. The piece celebrates one of the most iconic moments in BTCC history, when at Silverstone in 1992, we witnessed one of the most fiercely fought track battles the series had ever seen.
To create the artwork, the artist hand-cuts hundreds of pieces of coloured vinyl to depict a reflection in the mirror of Soper’s BMW, along with the high & lowlights that flow across an original 1992 Vauxhall Cavalier door mirror – as found on Cleland’s car. The vinyl artwork is then treated to a clear-coat lacquer for a deep shine, and protection.
