The Fribourg & Troyer New Year Challenge competition, which appeared in the January edition of Motor Sport, was won by Mr. Peter J. Tutthill, of Wadebridge, Cornwall. Mr. Tutthill finally “crossed the line” to win by a hairs breadth after an eliminating contest between a handful of indecently knowledgeable experts, who themselves emerged in a photo-finish from an entry whose sheer quantity and quality astonished Fribourg & Troyer. the tobacco company in London’s Haymarket.
