In our May issue, in the course of a report of the Bristol M.C. and L.C.C. meeting at Castle Combe on Easter Saturday, we stated that a firm of caterers were working a racket by charging Is. for the use of tea-cups. This statement was made due to a misunderstanding which has now been cleared up. In fact the charge for a cup of tea was 4d. with a deposit of Is. on the cup which was returnable.

We wish to express to Symbol Cafe, Ltd., our sincere regrets for the paragraph concerned and withdraw any suggestion of excessive charges.
