Light Engineering, of 155, St. Andrew’s Road, Bridport, Dorset, are producing a combined fingertip headlight flasher and horn lever to fit a wide variety of modern cars. The ultra light-weight lever (costing 26s.) is quickly fitted to either the steering column or to the column surround, and buckle-type connections are provided to incorporate the switch into the existing wiring or circuit loom.

Operation is by a virtual fingertip movement – up, for flashing the headlights – down for a quick “bip” of the horn – and the driver does not have to remove his hand from the wheel.
