HE INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Results of Italian, French and German Grand Prix Races give victory to Alfa-Romeo

In the August issue of MoToR SPoRT we published the results of the International Championship of the three Grand Prix races of Italy, France and Germany, in so far as it applied to individual drivers, the result being 1, Nuvolari ; 2, Borzacehini ; 3, Caracciola ; 4, Dreyfus. Now the final placings for the cash prizes of 75,000, 30,000, 22,500, 15,000 and 7,500 francs have been decided, not on the individual drivers, but on entrants. The Alfa Romeo team, therefore, counts as one unit, and a private entrant, even though he may have driven different makes, counts on a level footing. The results are :

1. Alfa Romeo, 3 points (winner of all three Grand Prix races, 2 by Nuvolari, 1 by Caracciola. 2. Rene Dreyfus, 14 points (5th

in Italian G.P. and in French G.P. and 4th in German G.P.).

3. Maserati, 15 points (Fagioli 2nd in Italian G.P., Ruggeri 6th in German G.P.).

4. Bugatti, 16 points (Divo 6 pts. in Italian G.P., Chiron 4 pts. in French G.P. and 6 pts. in German G.P.).

5. Marcel Lehoux, 18 points (6 points in each race).
