Rotary Reliability

Sir

My point in writing to you is to advise your readers who may have held back from buying an RX7 Mazda, that the engine does last. In exactly three years mine covered 89,969 miles.

The failures in that time were these: one clutch (at 85,000), one thrust bearing (changed at the same time), one headlight bulb, various smaller bulbs. Nothing else at all. Never did it fail to start, nor did it ever leave me stranded. M.p.g. 24-26.

What more can I say. I’ve bought another. Usual disclaimers.
