Thousands at Reims meeting
The third automobile excellence weekend in Reims on September 25-27 attracted a strong crowd who gathered to watch 210 cars and bikes being demonstrated on the historic circuit.
As well as cars such as an Alfa Romeo Tipo 33, DB Le Mans and one of the Harrington Sunbeams, the weekend also featured the likes of Henri Pescarolo, Jean-Pierre Jabouille, Jean-Pierre Jaussaud, Patrick Tambay and Bruno Saby.
Bike stars Giacomo Agostini and Phil Read put on a great track display, while the Mille Miglia Maserati A6 GCS and the 1967 F2 Brabham BT23, which took victory in Gueux that year, also featured.
